Setting up your fees has a huge impact on your freelancing network. For starters, you can ask fellow freelancers how they set up their fees and their rates. In the beginning, you may lower your rates, but as time goes by, increase your rates as per your worth.

However, raise your prices within a short amount of time, when you are reliable, and people know that you are charging reasonably, they will rehire you and even recommend you to other people.

Freelancing is work itself. Thus, you need to get familiar with the legal issues and your rights. You don’t need to hire a lawyer, but it is advisable to have someone who can guide you through all the legal advice.
